Plugin Guide

Plugin Overview

Navigate the Morph plugin interface — tabs, status indicators, and key actions.

The Morph plugin lives inside Framer's canvas panel. Once signed in, you'll see three main tabs along the bottom: Rules, Plan, and Account.

Rules tab

This is where you spend most of your time. The Rules tab shows all personalization rules for your current site. From here you can:

  • Create new rules
  • Edit existing rules (add/remove variants, change conditions)
  • Toggle rules between Active, Paused, and Draft states
  • Save changes to sync with the Morph backend

When you have unsaved changes, an Unsaved Changes banner appears at the top with Save and Discard options. The plugin also warns you before closing if there are unsaved changes.

Plan tab

Shows your current plan, usage stats (sites used, rules used), and trial countdown if applicable. Includes a link to upgrade from the dashboard.

Account tab

Displays your site connection status and provides quick actions:

  • Site name — click to rename your site
  • Snippet status — shows whether the Morph runtime is connected, disconnected, or has a key mismatch
  • Add/Update Snippet — fix connection issues with one click
  • Links — quick access to the dashboard, docs, and support

Plugin menu

The plugin adds a Log out and Help & Docs option to Framer's native plugin menu (the ⋯ icon in the plugin header). Use the menu to log out or quickly access documentation.

Status indicators

The plugin uses colored dots to show status at a glance:

  • Green dot — site connected, snippet active
  • Yellow dot — snippet key mismatch (needs update)
  • Red dot — snippet not connected
